The Verdict is In...
...and it's great news! Your crossed-fingers, prayers, and positive energy really helped me dodge the IV bullet. I got the call today that [because of my difficult line placement and blood clots] my CF doc doesn't want to use IV antibiotics unless it's absolutely necessary.
So the plan is to give the 2 oral antibiotics two weeks to work their magic and then we'll go from there. Unfortunately these are the strong ones that make me feel super nauseous and yucky, but I'll take that over IVs any day.
I have the utmost confidence that these meds will work and I am looking forward to getting back to exercising and enjoying my favorite time of year, Spring.
